Phone specific directions for information removal
Blackberry 7 Devices (9900, 9810, 9790, 9360, 9860, 9380)
- Click the Blackberry key twice (the button with 7 the dots)
- Scroll down and select the ‘Options’ icon (it looks like a wrench)
- Scroll down and select ‘Security’
- Scroll down and select ‘Security Wipe’
- Select ‘Emails, Contacts, etc.’ and ‘User Installed Applications’
- Underneath ‘Confirmation’ type in the word ‘blackberry’ and select the ‘Wipe Data’ button.
HTC Sensation/Raider/Desire Z/Wildfire S
- Tap the App drawer icon (the square button with tiny squares in it next to ‘Phone’)
- Scroll to the ‘Settings’ icon and tap it.
- Scroll down and select ‘SD & phone storage’
- At the bottom of the screen, select ‘Factory data reset’
- To erase all data, photos and music select ‘Erase SD card’
- At the bottom of the screen tap ‘Reset Phone’
iPhone 3GS/4/4GS iOS version 5
- Tap ‘Settings’
- Scroll down and tap ‘General’
- Scroll to the bottom and tap ‘Reset’
- Tap ‘Erase All content and Settings’
Motorola Atrix/XT860/Pro+
- Tap the App drawer icon (it looks like a square within a square)
- Scroll to the ‘Settings’ icon and tap it
- Scroll down and tap ‘Privacy’
- Tap ‘Factory data reset’
- Select ‘Erase internal storage’
- Select ‘Erase SD card’ only if you want to erase the removable micro SD card.
- Tap ‘Reset phone’
- Tap ‘Erase everything’
LG Optimus LTE (P930)/Eclypse/Optimus Net
- Tap the App drawer icon (blue square with 4 white dots in it)
- Scroll to the ‘Settings’ icon
- Scroll down and tap ‘Privacy’
- Tap ‘Factory data reset’
- Select ‘Erase SD card’ to wipe all music and photos.
- Tap ‘Reset phone’
- Tap ‘Erase everything’
Samsung Galaxy S2/551/Gio/Galaxy W
- Tap the Applications icon (blue square with 4 white squares in it)
- Scroll to the side and tap ‘Settings’
- Scroll down and tap ‘Privacy’
- Tap ‘Factory data reset’
- Select ‘Format USB storage’ to erase music and photos
- Tap ‘Reset phone’
- Tap ‘Erase everything’
Samsung Galaxy Nexus
- Tap the App drawer icon (white circle with 6 white squares in it)
- Scroll to the ‘Settings’ icon and tap it
- Scroll down and tap ‘Backup & reset’
- Tap ‘Factory data reset’
- Tap ‘Reset phone’

- Click the ‘OK’ button
- Scroll down to ‘Settings’ and click the ‘OK’ button to select it
- Scroll down to ‘Memory Management’ and select it
- Select ‘Clear Memory’
- Select ‘All’
- Click the left shoulder button to select ‘Ok’

- Click the middle ‘Menu’ button
- Scroll to ‘Settings’ (wrench icon) and click the middle button to select it
- Scroll down to ‘Rest. factory sett.’ and select it
- Select ‘Restore settings only’
- Click the middle button to select ‘Continue’

- Tap the ‘Menu’ icon
- Tap the ‘Settings’ icon
- Scroll down and tap ‘Reset’
- Tap ‘Reset Phone’

- Input 1,3,7,9 and press ‘Done’ to confirm the reset
